I am happy to announce that our rescue operation is complete and our pilot is safely on board Fleet Carrier Democracy. Thank you to all MAKE commanders that assisted in this effort.
Our journey to Colonia took a little longer than expected due to unforeseen logistical, innovation, and discovery challenges. I like to remember that the value of any experience is in the journey and not the final destination.
Our logistical challenges occurred about 1/3rd of our way into our journey when it was discovered our supply of Tritium was going to become exhausted before our calculations predicted. An error was discovered in our software, it was fixed, and planning took place for refuel operations. This meant we would need to mine our fuel for the remaining journey.
This required some quick thinking and innovation from our commanders. We had brought along mining vessels, but they were not equipped for full-scale strip mining of ice asteroids. Several of our mining ASPs were used for parts and new Type-10 strip miners were outfitted.
Lastly, we had to do some exploration along the way to discover Tritium Hot Spots.
Not only did we discover many pristine mining systems, but Rampageous One was lucky enough to discover a new life form.
He also discovered a rather unique and beautiful ringed planet.
Unfortunately, our journey has kept us away from Rhea for too long and the enemies of democracy are taking full advantage of our absence. Our home defense forces are being pushed back and we encourage them to continue to fight aggressively. The cavalry is distant, but will return, and there will be retribution against our enemies once our klaxons sound in Rhea.
FLEET OPERATIONS:
All commanders on Democracy are to begin refueling operations immediately. Tritium Hot Spots need to be scouted, Tritium venders located, our Tritium fuel depot filled, and 4000 tons of Tritium need to be placed in cargo for our return journey.
