Commanders,
I have been charged by our leadership with informing you about dire news that impacts our galaxy. Our intelligence services have long feared that something nefarious was occurring within the galaxy since they noticed a significant decline of human population. Our scientists estimate the decline to be between 1/4 to 1/3 of all human activity. Unfortunately, this information was confirmed today.
Our leaders have come into information concerning an elite group of oligarchs belonging to all the ruling factions, calling themselves FDEV, that confirm our worst suspicions. We have translated their coded message, but the truths it contains are not in dispute: Coded Transmission.
This is what we know. FDEV is aware of the human disappearances and discuss the situation in terms of “console,” which is our galaxy, and “PC,” which is an alternate galaxy. FDEV confirms that humans have been phasing into this alternate galaxy. They believe they can save our galaxy by cloning the remaining humans and phasing them into the PC galaxy.
The elements that can be copied during phasing include:
*Ships, Holo-Me, weapons, SRVs and SLFs
*Including Cobra Mk IV if owned
*Core progression (this includes…)
*Inventory
*Reputation
*Navy Ranks
*Permits
*Codex Discoveries
*Engineering progress
*Guardian Tech Broker progress
*NPC Crew progress
*Cosmetics – Cosmetic items applied through the Livery (ships and Fleet Carriers) and Holo-Me will remain applied.
The elements that won’t be copied include:
*Commander name – The process will require a new name to be chosen if the original name is not available in the PC galaxy.
*ARX Balance – balances cannot be transferred. FDEV recommends that people make all necessary purchases of unspent ARX prior to phasing.
*Squadron membership
*Friends lists, Block lists and Private Groups
*Current mission progress
*NPC Crew names and appearances
Fleet Carrier ownership cannot be transferred from one Commander to another. Since the PC galaxy person is a clone of the console galaxy person this applies. Thus, Fleet Carrier owners must post-transfer do the following:
1. Decommission their Fleet Carrier ahead of the transfer
2. Wait for the decommissioning to complete (two weeks).
3. Check that credits from the decommissioning have been returned.
4. Complete the phasing process
5. Re-purchase a Fleet Carrier after arriving in the PC galaxy
Luckily for the citizens of MAKE, our leaders have anticipated this calamity. Due to the nature of this event, Rhea First Prime has authorized me to share information that has been declassified from top secret to common knowledge. Our exploration unit found what we believe to be a wormhole known as Raxxla that leads to new and exciting galaxies. Our citizens have already begun the process of evacuation to a city we have built called New Rhea. We urge all commanders to follow these paths. Our engineers have discovered a space where a commander’s imagination is the only limit to their potential. Commanders can find more information about this galaxy from these coded files: Space Engineers. We have also discovered an amazing galaxy where no person owns the skies. The potential for exploration is unlimited: No Man’s Sky.
City State Democracy’s population has been evacuated to these two galaxies per each individual’s preference. They are safe and doing well. Democracy will be decommissioned but will be available as a star port for about two more weeks. The Madeline AI has been placed in charge of all Democracy’s remaining functions. Democracy’s name has been changed to a code that will lead people to this information in hopes that they can save themselves from the galactic destruction.
Each commander should choose carefully if phasing is the right choice for them. It is clear that the process will likely be the end of MAKE as we know it, but you may find some solace with others should you choose that route. Our scientists believe that the PC galaxy is too destined for a die off, so please weigh your options carefully.
It has been an honor serving with each of you. Be proud of your accomplishments. Keep fighting for democracy wherever you land, and I look forward to flying more friendly skies with those who choose to enter the Raxxla wormhole.
